FAQs About Tuxes for Proms and Weddings

We have made the tuxedo rental procedure easy for you by answering some frequently asked questions about wedding and prom wear. If you still have any questions. please feel free to call us! The experienced team at Ducky's Formal Wear is looking forward to serving you. If three or more people are getting fitted, an appointment is needed.

Weddings

  • 1. When should I register for my wedding?

    Weddings should be registered at least 3 months prior to the big day.

  • 2. Do I need an appointment?

    To register your wedding we would like you  to make an appointment, so that we can give you that one on one attention you deserve. 


  • 3. When should the wedding party get fitted?

    Describe the item or answer the question so that site visitors who are interested get more information. You can emphasize this text with bullets, italics or bold, and add links.

  • 4. What if someone is from out of town?

    They can get measured at any tuxedo store near them and mail, fax, phone or email their measurements to us. 

  • 5. When should we pay for the tuxes?

    There is a $20 down payment for the tuxedos upon fitting or submitting measurements. Otherwise, full payment is not required until the date of pickup.

  • 6. What specials do you offer?

    Wedding specials may vary. Please call us for details.

  • 7. Do you carry wedding invitations?

    Yes. We carry invitations by Carlson Craft.

  • 8. When are the tuxes ready?

     Check with a Consultant, usually, pickup is a day or two before, and return is the day after.

  • 9. What hidden fees should I look for?

    We don't charge any hidden fees!

Prom FAQs

  • 1. Do I have to make a down payment?

    Yes. A $20 non-refundable down payment is required when you book your tux.

  • 2. Do you have garters?

    Yes, during prom we do carry a wide variety of garters. Prices range from $10 to $25.

  • 3. This dress has my school listed on the tag. What does that mean?

    If you see the name of your school on the tag, it means that someone from your school already bought that dress.

  • 4. Will you sell the same dress to someone that goes to my school if I bought it first?

    No. We will not sell the same dress in the same color to anyone attending your event. 

  • 5. Do you have rush order charges or sales tax on rentals?

    There are no hidden fees when you rent your tux from us!
